"Love it or mock it but Hurricane On Saturn is telling something. This ain’t your yet another average band playing the same old stuff heard million times."

Italian-based Hurricane On Saturn had a little chat with Rock Attitude for the following interview.

In your own words, how would you describe Hurricane On Saturn?

– It’s a fuckin venom, it’s a fuckin dope, once you understand it, what it is and what it stands for, it won’t leave you fuckin indifferent. Love it or mock it but Hurricane On Saturn is telling something. This ain’t your yet another average band playing the same old stuff heard million times.

How did you start the band?

– Dakm called me like this: "Man I've got things to say. I've got the music. Let’s do it for real or let’s go fuck off". Say no more, I’m in. Then we told Rastaban and Antares and they were immediately enthusiastic about the idea and the whole thing started to spin.

Who were you musical influences to start with the band?

– No one in particular. We are influenced by everything we like and gives us good vibes without limits or narrow points of view. After that you can define our music the way you want, pop, rock, punk, metal, folk, electronic, rap, I’m sure you can find a spark of each one of these things.

What is your aim with Hurricane On Saturn?

– Our aim is to find and reunite with the lost souls like us, the hidden and beaten, tired, mistreated and rejected ones. Ambitious? We’ll create a new base of wretched who feel the way we feel, who need something new, something different from the deadly and apathetic mainstream set up by the mighty and the rich for their own advantage.

Your singing style is very accessible! Is this conscious or unconscious?

– For sure I take that as a compliment. We are conscious that not being native speaker makes our english kinda strange, but that doesn't bother us. As we see it, language is just a tool whose purpose is to deliver a message. So if it results in being accessible and most people can recognize and understand it, that means we are doing right.

In yournew song "Outsider", the style is even more catchier than before. What do you think and do you plan another full album in the near future?

– Yes we have a bunch of singles to release during the year and each one can be more or less catchier. It's not something we decide on paper, as I told you before, it's something we don't pay too much attention to. It’s what we felt good in that moment in that way but it doesn’t mean that the general HOS sound is going in that direction. After all we don't have any direction; do we look like guys with a direction? We are just fools chasing stars. In the future we are planning to release our second album and I can assure you have to be ready for anything.

Are you going to change your musical style on the future recordings?

– Yes something will change from Killing Field, otherwise we wouldn’t feel the need to publish a second album, but we really don’t think too much about that. We only do what comes out spontaneous. It's always HOS. Same grit, same attitude, same will to shock and awe without boundaries, same message to deliver.

Your melodies are really catchy! How do you work the composition?

– Dakm, as usual, has the main theme of the song, he’s becoming a sort of our producer, then we all revise and adapt the details to our specific parts. It’s really much easier done than said. But when you move like a one-mind body the final result hardly disappoints you.

What about live performances? Do you enjoy being on stage?

– We would definitely enjoy it. A lot. But still that moment seems to be somewhat far, damn it

Is this hard to keep the band flowing along with your personal life?

– Yes sure we all have busy personal lives but we are completely committed to this shit and we totally believe in what we are doing. The power of will always finds a way.

Have you something else to say to end this interview?

– Yes the same thing we always say to anybody who supports our cause. Thanks for your space-time, it’s not obvious and we never take anything for granted, we really appreciate it.

Thank you very much! Congrats for your work!

– Thanks again and be sure not miss Crumbs, our next single releasing on May 3
