Behemoth have announced a new partnership with Massacre Records for the worldwide physical release of their upcoming exclusive album “I, Scvlptor”, set to arrive on September 4, 2026 on CD, vinyl, cassette and limited-edition box set formats.

The collaboration marks one of the most significant partnerships in the history of Massacre Records, with the label describing the release as one of the most exciting and prestigious projects it has ever handled.

“I, Scvlptor” will feature eight brand-new and previously unreleased tracks which, according to frontman Adam Darski, better known as Nergal, bridge the band’s past with a fresh new creative direction.

Nergal described the release as a fully autonomous and self-contained work that captures the live intensity, energy and creative fire that has driven Behemoth for decades. He also revealed that the band revisited some of its earliest material, reshaping it with a more modern edge while preserving its original spirit.

Pre-orders for “I, Scvlptor” will begin on June 1st, the same day the official artwork and full track listing will also be unveiled.

Massacre Records label manager Thomas Hertler stated that Behemoth remain one of the most iconic and powerful forces in extreme metal and expressed the label’s pride in bringing the release to fans around the world.

The rise of Behemoth from the Polish underground scene to the top tiers of international charts remains one of extreme metal’s greatest success stories. Albums such as “The Apostasy”, “Evangelion”, “The Satanist”, “I Loved You At Your Darkest” and “Opvs Contra Natvram” achieved major worldwide commercial success without the band ever compromising its artistic vision.

In particular, 2014’s “The Satanist” became a landmark release for the band, establishing itself as one of the most successful black and death metal albums in the history of the Billboard charts.

Recently, the band released their cover to Bathory's “The Return Of Darkness And Evil” .
