Red Roll is a rock band from Italy. Rock Attitude took the chance to have a little chat with the band for the interview that we present you.
Hello guys! Congrats for your video "Knives”. Really refreshing sound! How are you?
– Hello and thank you for this space! We are fine… really excited for the upcoming period! It’s going to be an insane summer!
Tell us a few words about the recordings of your last EP "At The End The Beginning". When and where?
– We recorded that EP in summer of 2019. It was a great experience, we stayed one week close in a studio near Ferrara (Italy), At the second floor there was the apartment and at the first floor the studio. So we really spent a week inside this recording. An amazing experience!
How can you describe your sound?
– visceral, instinctive, sick.
Are there any plans for a full album in the near future?
– Sure, on may 27 we’ll release a new Single: Messiah. This is a single of the upcoming album: Another Way of Silence out in September 2022.
Any plans for live performances?
– We are going to touring all the summer to promote the album, at the moment we have 30 concerts scheduled all around Italy and Europe.
Do you have any other musical projects, or you feel really dedicated about your band?
– At the moment Red Roll is the only projects!
What do you enjoy most? Recordings or stage and why?
– Recordings is a great experience, we love it but for sure our first dimension is the stage!
What is your opinion about the whole situation in the world today? Are you happy?
– We are living difficult times! Situations that cut people’s freedom and this is the worst thing that can happen.
What are your future plans about the band? Are you going to keep a steady line up, or you will follow the idea of a project?
– We are going to follow the idea of the project… but everything can happen in the future!
Do you believe in God?
– Ahahahah, this is an hard question. Personally (Passo) no, I believe in something bigger than us but not in one God.
Are you angry with prejudiced people judging your music?
– Absolutely no!
But we really like your work! The last words are yours…
– Thank you guys! We hope to see you in the future during a concert… to be able to spent 2 hours embraced in the same freedom.
