Athens-based Goth\/Post-Punk sensation Reflection Black<\/strong>, strikes with debut EP Entering Dreamtime<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The studio project of mastermind Elis Alex, wraps up its first year of existence with 3 tracks of its distinct brand of Darkwave and Post-Punk, released in an EP format on 20\/5\/2022 in alliance with Razorbleed Productions. With \u201cEntering Dreamtime\u201d, Reflection Black draw Goth soundscapes of the 21st century that honor the pioneering eras of old but deliver authenticity far beyond the retro aesthetics of the genre.<\/p>\n

In \u201cEntering Dreamtime\u201d, layers of synths are intertwined with intricate guitars and melodic vocal hooks, all infused with a dark and mystical atmosphere and complemented by the production of George Emmanuel (Lucifer\u2019s Child, ex-Rotting Christ) of Pentagram Studio. The unique musical identity of the EP draws from a wide palette of influences including Goth classics like The Sisters of Mercy and The Mission and bringing in mind the modern sound of present acts She Past Away, Drab Majesty and Twin Tribes.<\/p>\n

Alex comments: \u201cWith Entering Dreamtime EP, I am excited to share with the world a first taste of the very personal musical vision of Reflection Black that has been cultivated for quite some time. Expect cutting-edge Goth\/Post-Punk that combines several elements of this diverse genre in what I consider to be its most modern version.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cEntering Dreamtime\u201d is scheduled for release on 20\/5\/2022 in alliance with Razorbleed Productions in a special edition CD format limited to only 100 copies.<\/p>\n

Originally conceived in late 2019, the concept of Reflection Black has been sculptured in the urban landscapes of Athens, Greece by Elis Alex. The project has seen the light of day in 2021 with the release of the first series of singles, delivering contagious and dark Goth Rock and Post-Punk style infused by Alex\u2019s black metal past (Ravencult, Nigredo).<\/p>\n

With the release of the \u201cEntering Dreamtime\u201d EP and a full-length album being cultivated in an already mature stage, Reflection Black are ready to share with the world their visions from the blackest depths of the other side of the mirror.<\/p>\n
